Katina is a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor-I (LCDC-I), Certified Mental Health Practitioner and Healer in alternative medicine (Reiki),EMDR Therapy Certified, Certified ABA Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT), a musically inclined vocalist/recording artist, and Music Therapeutic Coach, internationally and state wide. Katina's clientele consist of both high profile and local clients in all areas of careers. She is a business executive, mom and grandmother; who is experienced, trained and a powerful leader in mental health, life and career; Katina focuses on holistic care, delivering messages of motivation, self-care, accountability, happiness, love, respect, determination and success to her clients. Using techniques such as breathing, mindfulness, and psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to target areas of general anxiety, social anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, substance abuse/addiction, as well as in palliative care and oncological care. While currently in her Doctoral program for Behavioral Health (DBH) at Arizona State University, she has obtained her Masters of Arts in Mental Health and Wellness Counseling from New York University (NYU), a BS in Psychology from Capella University, AA in Business Administration, and a Certification in Mediation Services. She has also previously studied at Prairie View A&M where she majored in Vocal music and minored in Piano, with over 30+ years obtained in the Music and Entertainment Industry. She is also a certified Substitute Teacher in education for English and Language Arts, teaching students of ages 5 to adults. In addition, Katina has extensive working experience in corporate industries such as Construction, Employment Agencies, Vendor Relations, Wealth Management, Banking, Real Estate and Medical where she has gained much knowledge to assist in areas of improvement in clientele, social economics, career and business development. She is the Founder and President of Building Stronger People Foundation Inc., Board member at Dream Academy Houston for the Mental Health and Wellness Program, a member of P.O.W.E.R. (Professional Organization of Women of Excellence Recognized), Member of The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), Organizer of Women On Fire -Empowerment Group, Mentor at Capella University, Volunteer at MD Anderson Cancer Center for Children, Volunteered in the Partnership/Leadership Program for Fort Bend ISD in Social Services with an on campus-based leadership team, among many other programs throughout the city of Houston; and has helped many people, from children, teens and adults, in individual, couples, family, and groups establish great relationships, while helping them discover their purpose and joys of a good and successful life. In addition, we also provide services to veterans and their families while proviing specialized support to all clients.
Katina believes that if a person truly wants to change or better their lives, working the transition from beginning to end, takes dedication and the will to succeed; because change does not happen with a thought alone.
Utilizing basic emotional skills to manage feelings and actions, is one of the most important agents in the process of building happiness and success.
Shondriale Shonta Warren
Life and Nutrition Coach
Shondriale is a graduate from Sam Houston University with a Bachelor is Public Health, and a Masters in Nutrition from Lamar University . Her Nutrition expertise targets eating schedules, healthy meal plans and breastfeeding classes for new moms. She is a wife, mother and also the owner of Kairos Meraki a company that targets multi-services for women. She has a broad background of studies in Health and Psychology, as well as previous volunteer work at The Lexington in Huntsille,Tx, The Hearthstone Assistant Living in Houston, Tx and elementary schools in Houston, Tx. Her primary focus is teens to young adult women from the ages of 13-30, where she focuses on confidence, self worth & self esteem, loving relationships, anger management, health and fitness as well as the overall stress and optimal health dealing with problems in school, motherhood and relationships. She also helps prepare students for college by creating goals and plans.
Sally Tarver
Biblical Counselor, and Public Speaker
Sally is a licensed Minister who graduated from College of Biblical Studies with highest honors. She is also a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother with many years of Teaching, Public speaking and Counseling. Her primary focus is children and adults in areas of self awareness, growth, and parenting from a biblical principles perspective.
Brooke Kearney
Physical Health and Wellness Coach
Brooke is a graduate of Sam Houston University who majored in Wellness Management. She has obtained her certification through the American Council of Exercise (ACE) with accreditation through the National Commission of Certifying Agencies (NCCA) in Physical Fitness and is an instructor for individuals, couples and group classes in Zumba. She is a wife, extremely active in her church and heavily devoted to helping the community. Her primary focus is helping people build a healthy life balance, with emphasis on nutrition, exercise, and understanding unhealthy patterns both physically and mentally; as well as why they are formed so that we can attempt to break those patterns. Brooke believes that if you take care of yourself on the inside, it will show on the outside.
Brooke states that her love for helping others is more than just physical and mental, it is also spiritual. She strives for helping people who are in need, and that is the bases of her health education which consisted of two internships, both of which focused on improving people in a coaching format. Brooke works with both men and women ages 13 - 60 who are looking to improve their health and to develop healthier eating habit for over all health.
